Stephen Govan is a creative content creator and urban developer currently living in Tanga, Tanzania. He aims to build urban communities and bridge the gap between Africans and the African Diaspora.
He is currently utilizing his talents to bring forth unity in urban communities through economics, education, and customer service training.
With over 19 years of experience, he has obtained multiple professional certifications and awards for his exemplary customer service skills.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with family, hiking through the mountains, fishing, and swimming.
Nivonike Malillah is a devoted husband and father, born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. He moved to the UK as a teen and worked hard in different sectors including cleaning, cooking, administration and construction.
In order to provide for his growing family, he was determined to become a HGV driver and so embarked upon the necessary training. As soon as he qualified, he went out on the road, without a CV and without experience, to persuade his potential employers to hire him. His efforts paid off and thus began his journey in the business of logistics, eventually taking the steps to start out on his own some ten years later.
He has since returned home to Tanzania where he continues to work within the transport sector. Nivonike is looking forward to utilizing his skills, expertise and business acumen acquired over the years to give back to the community. He has a heart to partake in various projects within his home country to assist in community initiatives, with the aim of promoting the development of the country.
Sherri D. Spears is originally from Oklahoma City, OKC by way of Portland, OR. In 1985, she married her wonderful husband of 38 years; and share 5 beautiful children and 2 wonderful grandchildren. She attended business college & community college taking courses in travel/tourism, and business.
She became a believer in Christ in 1983: serving on the usher board, youth ministry, children's ministry, as well as paying and prepping church offerings for bank deposits. She is passionate about helping children who are less fortunate, and the elderly.
Relocating to Africa, she wants to give others opportunities to learn new skills. Her desire is to love like Ruth, believe like Mary, and sacrifice like Esther.
Jamila Govan is a relocation consultant and urban developer currently living in Tanga, Tanzania. Her areas of focus are urban community building, tourism, and childhood development.
With a degree in interior design, she is currently utilizing her eye for design and safety to help construct creative, safe, affordable homes and facilities for under privileged neighborhoods.
Some of her professional accomplishments are graduating with honors from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and having one of her designs published in the Davie Parks and Recreation magazines.
Besides working on community-based projects, Jamila loves to enjoy nature. She loves any serene backdrop whether it be the beach, the mountains, or a stroll through a park with family or friends.
